A longtime community leader and small business owner, Alexandria Anderson has spent over a decade working at the neighborhood and city level to improve access, accountability, and quality of life in Austin. District 1 is home, and she is prepared to lead on day one.
"As a queer woman, my lived experiences shape how I lead. I bring a people-centered, inclusive perspective. I'm running for District One to address the consequences of past policy decisions and bring organizing experience, fiscal responsibility, and real problem-solving to City Hall."

Alexandria has spent more than a decade leading at the neighborhood and city level, working directly with residents and city departments to improve quality of life in District 1. Her leadership is rooted in collaboration, accountability, and sustained civic engagement.
